... Enchanted Polish - I am the Walrus ...

Anyone who enjoys polish, knows that Enchanted Polishes are the current hot thing. Getting your hands on a bottle can be extremely hard unless you are in the right place at the right time. I wanted to share this polish tonight for 2 reasons. One, because it's extremely beautiful and two, there is a bottle of "I am the Walrus" up for auction so incase you are lusting over it, you can satisfy that lemming while lending a hand to others.

The beautiful Carli over at Vintage Musings of a Modern Pinup recently wrote this post with the heartbreaking story about her relatives. Since then quite a few Aussie polish lovers have joined forces to auction a lot of polishes off to raise money for the family. I am the Walrus packs a double whammy. Firstly that it's holographic, and secondly that it's a multichrome. It's constantly changing colour and in the sunlight you have the familiar rainbow pattern appear aswell. Bliss! I found the shift was definitely more noticable in the shade but maybe that's cos I'm easily distracted by holographic polishes!

It's worthwhile to note that these swatches are not layered. This is the straight out the bottle effect which is fantastic for those lazy like myself as I don't have the patience to layer polishes on a regular basis. 

Sorry there are no fancy underwater shots. The only time my hands are near water these days is when I'm at the beach avoiding the heat! I didn't think sand and surf would be a great shot combo (especially when you add in the fact that I'm a complete klutz who would drop her camera in!)

As requested today by Kitties26 from More Nail Polish -  it's Chemistry 523 in all it's glory - well if you ignore the kids Shampoo bottle in the background! Whoops. 523 is a multichrome that shifts from dark brown to bright copper to burnt orange to shiny gold - like all of the multichromes it's very pretty and mesmerising.

First things first - this is shown over my super favourite nude Nfu.Oh23 but I'm sure it would look fantastic layered over black aswell. Unfortunately this one streaks and took ages to dry [so excuse the smudged finger] but the colour goodness definitely made up for that.

Apologies in advance for the dodgy photography - I like to hope that one day I'll be fantastic at capturing these in their awesomeness. My poor pinky finger has decided today not to photograph nicely *sad*

** Final Verdict **

If you ignore the streaks and everything this is a fantastic polish like all the others in the Chemistry/Ozotic/Artform range. I tried to Google to see if there is another multichrome brown to gold but it wasn't bringing up much success with the keywords I was using.

Why paint your nails one single colour that remains the same when you can do a range in one go!!

I have been waiting so impatiently since I ordered my first batch of goods from PicturePolish and it finally arrived during the week. Included was my first batch of Ozotic Pro polishes and can't stop looking at them. They sparkle, they catch the sun and they make me smile everytime I see them.

There hasn't been that much sun around my area lately but I found that I could easily get my nails to change from really from a deep dark blue to a bright purple and all the colours in between. The bottle seems to indicate there are a lot more colours hidden in there!

This is an extremely easy polish to use - trust me. I generally make a mess of at least one finger but no issues here whatsoever. The polish itself is very shiny and smooth. I've layered it over a black base coat just to make sure the colour could stand out and although I've done 2 coats for these photos you could easily get away with one as the colour definitely came through straight away.

I found it dried relatively quickly aswell which is fantastic. I should point out that both these photos were taken day 3 of were WITHOUT a top coat/hardener [I got lazy]. I've got a big fat zero chips which is such a bonus for a great colour. I haven't bothered retouching it up yet as I wanted to see how long I could go before it decided to come apart on me ... but no sign yet.

I've tried to take photos grabbing the fantastic colours that reflect out of this polish but it's so hard to grab them all.

** Final Verdict **
You know you want this!!! It's shiny, it changes colour and I guarantee it'll make you go into a goofy grin everytime you catch the light reflecting off your nails. I will easily give it 10/10
